Brent library closures (16 images)
Kensal Rise, Cricklewood, Neasden and Preston Road libraries are four of the six closed by Brent Council against the wishes of local campaigners, following a High Court ruling last week. At Kensal Rise and Preston Road, residents are mounting pickets to prevent further action by the Council. At Kensal Rise, workmen sent to board up the Victorian building have been prevented from doing so four times; at Preston Road, the Council has been prevented ffrom removing computers and books.
