A contract worker gives away free copies of the  London Evening Standard outside Bond Street tube station.  The newspaper, owned by Russian oligarch Alexander Lebedev, became a freesheet and replaced its 300 strong network of self-employed street vendors with salaried staff working for a contractor in 2009.
