Walterton & Elgin Action Group 1985-1995

Hermes Point on Elgin Estate, North Paddington, seen through a broken window in its sister block Chantry Point. The asbestos-ridden towers were used by Westminster City Council to rehouse homeless families as part of the programme which became known as the 'Homes for Votes' scandal.  The towers were demolished in 1995.
